This course is based in Nova Scotia and focuses exclusively on teaching skills and techniques. Lectures will focus on: adult learning principles, class organization, liability, stroke progression and programming. This is not a skill development course. Time will be spent fine tuning strokes, but students are expected to arrive with “demonstration quality” strokes and a working knowledge of sea kayaking theory.
